ChocolateCON is excited to announce an open call for conversation leaders for the 2025 convention.
ChocolateCON will center black joy with ties to bridge the historical, present, and future experiences of Black life, focusing on liberation and cultural impact in Washington, D.C., and other "Chocolate Cities" across the African Diaspora.
Hosting a community conversation is a fun and impactful way to share your knowledge or talent. If you have an idea for a Black Joy topic, please apply today!

Let’s talk Black Joy
If your topic is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with the day and time that you are scheduled 60 days before the convention.
Conversation Leaders are given access to the convention, including the VIP experience. Additionally, you are listed on the website, social media and on our event materials.
NOTE: Conversations are open to the general public and are conducted in a Harkness method to encourage/invite the audience to also use their voice to add their insights or questions about the topic being discussed.
